An Addison man yesterday became the first person to be arrestedfor allegedly violating new state regulations that legalized "LasVegas Night" charity events.
Walter Nekyha, 25, of 1420 Golden Gate Dr., was charged withthree counts of gambling after state Revenue Department agents saidthey raided his house and warehouse and found unlicensed gamblingmachines. He posted $3,000 bond and is scheduled to appear May 27 inDu Page County Circuit Court.
